Commanding Officer HMCS ORIOLE Royal Canadian Navy
Lieutenant Commander Robert Pelton is the current serving Commanding Officer in HMCS ORIOLE. He joined the Naval Reserve in Winnipeg in 2001 and has been serving on the East Coast of Canada since 2005. HMCS ORIOLE is the only tall ship in the Royal Canadian Navy and also the longest serving commissioned ship in the RCN. ORIOLE is celebrating its 100th birthday this year.
